Hey everyone, Brendon here! We’ve been getting a lot of questions about where I buy my fishing rigs. Let me start by saying this: I refuse to buy pre-tied beach fishing rigs from the tackle shop. Instead, I simply buy all the tackle needed to tie my own rigs. It is way more efficient to tie your own fishing rigs because you can make a custom rig for your exact needs. Not only is it more efficient, but it is way cheaper! I often tie up 5-6 rigs before a fishing trip, in case I lose a rig to a shark, toothy fish, or simply just a bad cast that snaps my rig off.
There are many fishing rigs to choose from; some simple, some complicated. Each rig serves a different purpose. Here is the most reliable rig in our book of rigs, simple to tie but very effective for targeting a multitude of different fish! The best part: it works at any beach! We call this rig the “Ol’ Faithful” since it never lets us down.
