Last month, while exploring the beautiful islands of Coron, Philippines, we met Nori.
Nori was our guide, taking us through some of the most breathtaking waters and landscapes we have ever seen. From the outside, everything felt like paradise—crystal clear water, peaceful islands, and unforgettable adventure.
But as we spent more time with her, she shared something much deeper.
Behind the beauty, we began to see the real challenges her family and village face every day.
Nori showed us her home, her community, and the reality of how hard she works to support her family. She shared the struggles her village is currently dealing with—including damaged infrastructure and limited access to basic necessities.
One of the village’s small but essential bridges has been damaged, making daily travel more difficult and unsafe for local families. Food security is also an ongoing challenge, and even small contributions can go a very long way in directly helping families here.
Nori never asked us for money or assistance. She simply shared her world with us.
After seeing her kindness, strength, and the challenges her community faces, we knew we wanted to help.
