Great but..

I really like the rod. It’s a lot of fun to cast. Breaks down nicely and perfect for travel. My only dislike is that for the price point, there aren’t any brand name components. I thought for sure, there would be Fuji guides or reel seat at the very least. But even with the generic component, it appears that this rod is well built, sensitive, and durable enough to pull in a lot of fish to come.

Absolutely love

I’ve been using the surfrod for about a month now. Have caught trout, red drum, whiting, catfish ect… By far the best experience I’ve had!! rod is strong/ sensitive you can feel the bites and nibbles. super light, arms wont get fatigue after a long fishing session. My only complaint is that sometimes when you’re trying to disassemble it can get stuck but after a while it gets better.

Good Rod but One Thing Wrong

The first time I assembled the rod it locked together and wouldn’t release. I had to buy sure grip gloves and pull as hard as I could several times to get it apart. This had me VERY angry after spending this much money. I will now gently sand down the ends to fix this issue. A great travel rod that just needs tweaking. I still support a new company who loves to fish!

Big Fan

I love the fishing pole I don't care much for the rod holder I plan to fly with it and it doesn't provide any real protection. I would love you to design a hard case for your rod that will accommodate the Reel and I will be first on your list to buy it.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. When assembling the rod, *GENTLY* push together until snug- DO NOT EVER FORCE TOGETHER. 
  2. After each use, wash the rod down with freshwater and use a rag to wipe down all of the guides.
