Our bait is artisanally made by hand using our special salting technique. We have carefully and systematically created a process that beautifully preserves the bait so that it can sit in the open air without becoming stinky, smelly, mushy, squishy, or leaky.
Perfect for hook-and-sinker fishermen: Hook the bait on a high-low rig, or a bottom rig, or simply drift it with a split shot. It all depends on the structure you are fishing! Cut a piece of bait that will easily fit in the mouth of the fish you are targeting. For fish such as pompano, trout, redfish, drum, whiting, or other species, use a piece that is sized accordingly.Â
For those lure fishermen out there: the Squidy Bits work phenomenally as a trailer. It is full of scent and moves very naturally in the water. Attach tentacles to a jig head, or a buck-tail jig and try jigging for some monsters! A great bait to keep in your tackle bag.
