2nd catch

Tentacle held on to the hook, even after even after catching a bass and being caught on a snag shook it loose and the bait was still there. I like the way it moves in the water too.

I recommend this product

It works at the inlet in Ocean City, MD

I caught several different species of fish as well as a horseshoe crab and a blue crab. It was good to have a bait like that on vacation, because it dose not stink up the room, or gets your hands too messy, and can stay out of the small fridge in the room.

Description

Squidy Bits Tentacles

REAL BAIT. REAL TOUGH.

Small fish can’t rip this bait off. STOP spending so much time re-baiting your line and start spending more time actually fishing! Set the hook on the fish that count with Hey Skipper Salty Bits Bait! Our bait is tough, stays on the hook, and attracts fish with natural scent and flavor.

This is a classic bait that has been working for anglers all over the world for many years, and we are proud to continue the tradition.

Our bait is artisanally made by hand using our special salting technique. We have carefully and systematically created a process that beautifully preserves the bait so that it can sit in the open air without becoming stinky, smelly, mushy, squishy, or leaky. We are just a small business and we put extra time and care into creating the best bait possible. Every bag of bait you purchase is directly produced by Brendon & Erin, made and hand- packaged in Florida, USA.

Here is a list of the different species we KNOW bite the SALTY BITS:

Striped Bass, Black Sea Bass, WIDE variety of rock fish species, Flounder, Halibut, Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Weakfish, Black Drum, Wide variety of Florida baitfish, Porgy/Scup, Largemouth  & Smallmouth Bass, All species of Catfish, Carp, Freshwater Panfish, White & Yellow Perch, Grouper, Amberjack, Bonito, Tile Fish, Offshore bottom fish & MORE!

Care instructions:

  • To keep your bait as FRESH as possible:
  • Keep out of direct sunlight when fishing
  • Keep in the fridge for optimal storage

SQUIDY BITS:

Squidy Bits are a unique bait that attracts a very wide variety of fish. Cut off a strip of Squid Slab and put it on the end of your buck-tail or jig head, or simply rig a tentacle on the hook. You can really get creative with this bait. Whether you are fishing from a boat, the surf, a pier, a jetty; whether it’s freshwater or saltwater, using Squidy Bits will surprise you every time! A great bait to have in your tackle bag.

NOTES FOR FISHERMEN:

Salty Bits works great for both salt water and fresh water species of fish. It all depends on how you use the bait.

Perfect for hook-and-sinker fishermen: Hook the bait on a high-low rig, a bottom rig, or simply drift it with split shot. It all depends on the structure you are fishing!

For those lure fishermen out there: the squid works phenomenally as a trailer. It is full of scent and moves very naturally in the water. Attach tentacles to a jig head, or a buck-tail jig and try jigging for some monsters!
