Squidy Bits Jiggin’ Tentacles

Small fish can’t rip this bait off. STOP spending so much time re-baiting your line and start spending more time actually fishing! Set the hook on the fish that count with Hey Skipper Salty Bits Bait! Our bait is tough, stays on the hook, and attracts fish with natural scent and flavor.

This is a classic bait that has been working for anglers all over the world for many years, and we are proud to continue the tradition.

Squidy Bits are a unique bait that attracts a very wide variety of fish. Cut off a strip of Squid Slab and put it on the end of your buck-tail or jig head, or simply rig a tentacle on the hook. You can really get creative with this bait. Whether you are fishing from a boat, the surf, a pier, a jetty; whether it’s freshwater or saltwater, using Squidy Bits will surprise you every time! A great bait to have in your tackle bag.

Salty Bits works great for both salt water and fresh water species of fish. It all depends on how you use the bait.

Perfect for hook-and-sinker fishermen: Hook the bait on a high-low rig, a bottom rig, or simply drift it with split shot. It all depends on the structure you are fishing!

For those lure fishermen out there: the squid works phenomenally as a trailer. It is full of scent and moves very naturally in the water. Attach tentacles to a jig head, or a buck-tail jig and try jigging for some monsters!

Saves you money!

I have enjoyed using the squidy bits so much! I love how durable they are. I find myself throwing the leftovers back into the salt mix for next time. The fish can't take this bait and swim away! Well I mean some do but that's just me not having a fast reaction. This saves me a lot of money and time not having to go to the tackle shop to get bait everytime I want to go fishing. My girlfriend also likes this a lot better than frozen squid because it's easy to cut with scissors and add them to a sabiki rig without her hands smelling like fish later. I haven't had any luck when using this at the lake. I'll stick to nightcrawlers and crankbaits :p

My experience was good

Finally used my squidy bait on the 28th, shared some with friends and they where impressed. I liked the non wet or soggy bait. I liked the way it held on to the hook after several casts. It kept its shape after a long wait. I changed it only out of guilt of leaving it on so long. Probably would of been fine for some time. My second piece (A tentacle) brought in a good size perch. My next day out I am ready to go Shrimpys and tentacles.
